Imtiaz Developments has sold out its Dh2 billion RAW District project on Sheikh Zayed Road on the same day it launched. The project drew strong demand from regional and international buyers, making it one of the most talked-about mixed-use launches of the year.
RAW District is not a typical tower. It brings together serviced residences, offices, co-working spaces, wellness, dining, and cultural spaces under one roof. The idea is simple: live, work, and connect all in one place.
The launch attracted investors, entrepreneurs, creatives, and end-users who are looking for a more flexible way to live and work. Masih Imtiaz, CEO of Imtiaz Developments, put it plainly: "RAW District was never designed as a traditional development. We wanted to create something that feels alive, a place built around culture, movement, creativity, and connection."
What sets RAW District apart is its own lineup of in-house brands, each covering a different part of daily life. Raw Stay handles long-term serviced living with a hospitality mindset. Raw Theory focuses on fitness and recovery. Distrikt Table brings a unique food and beverage identity to the community. 6AM Coffee Club is built around morning coffee culture. The Design Lab and The Studio cater to creatives and makers. Raw Station provides co-working space for independent professionals.
Architecturally, the project moves away from the standard tower model. It features four interconnected buildings arranged around a central courtyard, with sky bridges, activated terraces, social plazas, and wellness zones built throughout. Imtiaz describes it as "a vertical district rather than a standalone development."
As a gesture of gratitude towards the UAE's frontline defenders, Imtiaz Developments introduced special and flexible payment plans for them across this project and its wider portfolio.
The sellout also shows growing investor confidence in Dubai's expanding urban corridors, especially areas around Expo City, Palm Jebel Ali, and Al Maktoum International Airport, all of which are expected to lead Dubai's next growth phase.
Following the sellout, Imtiaz confirmed that future RAW District projects are already being planned, with global expansion targeting cities like London, Miami, and Madrid.
RAW District is scheduled for completion in Q1 2029. This result adds to a broader pattern of strong demand across Dubai's real estate market, which recorded AED 142.7 billion in transactions in Q1 2025 alone, the second highest ever.
