The region’s first gaming experience, Activate is opening this September at City Centre Mirdif by Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment in partnership with Canada’s gaming company, Activate Games.
Activate blends gaming with physical activity in a fun, immersive environment. Featuring nine high-tech game rooms, it offers over 50 interactive games that react in real-time to movements.

From the TikTok-famous Mega Grid, where players interact with 500 multi-activated lights, to games like Hoops, Strike, and Portals, there’s something for everyone.
Activate is designed perfectly for ages six and up, it offers different levels of difficulty, so players can compete solo or in teams. A global scoreboard system lets players track progress and even compete with other players worldwide.
