Dubai has launched the Middle East’s first drone delivery system at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), marking a major step in the future of logistics. Inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, the system’s first delivery was made from Rochester Institute of Technology-Dubai.

This initiative supports Dubai's vision to be a leader in smart mobility and innovation as outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. The project is part of the Dubai Programme to Enable Drone Transportation, involves partnerships with organizations like Fakeeh University Hospital, Majid Al Futtaim, and Emirates SkyCargo.

The drone system designed with advanced flight control and quiet propellers, aims to cover 33% of Dubai by 2030 boosting the city's global innovation status.
