The iDeclare app enables passengers to self-declare items such as commercial goods, personal belongings, or cash. Instead of using the traditional paper forms, travelers can submit these details through the app in a few simple steps, saving time upon arrival. This smart system is designed to ensure smoother and quicker customs clearance, reducing wait times and improving efficiency.
With the launch of iDeclare, Dubai Customs has become the first customs administration in the region to implement mobile-based declarations for passengers. Dr. Abdulla Mohammed Busenad, Director General of Dubai Customs, explained that this system is part of the department’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience at one of the busiest airports in the world.
This move aims to facilitate ease of passage for the millions of passengers passing through Dubai International Airport every year, offering a seamless, hassle-free travel experience.
